OUR PARKING SITUATION

& HOW NOT TO GET TOWED

Our parking lot is technically owned by the Westport Hotel. When they get really busy, which generally happens during the weekends in the warmer months & holidays, there is not enough space to accommodate both guests of the Hotel & the Flea Market/Bowery.

Unfortunately, this has forced the Westport Hotel into a towing situation that no one is happy about and what it comes down to is this …

Kansas City is growing and the days of fast and cheap parking in midtown & downtown are becoming less & less. Most of the time our shared parking is not an issue and the hotel has been gracious by not drawing hard lines in the sand. But when it’s busy, their guests get precedence.

We are doing everything we can to prevent our guests from being towed. Please, refer to this graphic to the right when choosing a place to park. There is plenty of street parking as well and is at maximum, a 4 minute walk to the far South West corner of Old Westport (Wagon Parking).

For the elderly & disabled, we would suggest a drop off to the North Entrance to the Flea Market. There you will find handicap parking with a ramp into the building and another ramp leading to the hallway that connects the restaurant to the Bowery & Sparkle Room.

Please contact us if you need clarity or have any suggestions at all. We are always ready to hear you.
